Football: North Force lose to Te Atatu

The North Force premier side's season has taken a slight slumber after being beaten 3-0 by Te Atatu AFC.

A bye last weekend meant North Force had time to recuperate after suffering several injuries through the first half of the season.

However, their hopes of promotion will have taken another blow after Saturday's performance.

Trailing by one goal at halftime meant the Northern side were in a position to counter-act in the second half, but Te Atatu came out firing and scored two more goals before fulltime.

On the up side, North Force's reserve team have continued with their winning ways after a convincing 3-1 win over Te Atatu's reserve team.

Kyle Levell continued his rampant goal-scoring display by adding another goal to his tally, which is well into the double figures.

North Force's Andrew Dunn and Jason Teal scored the remaining goals in their win.

In Northland Premier Division football, Kerikeri had a solid win over Central Brown, beating them 4-0.

Tikipunga managed a 1-0 win over Kaitaia United, Bream Bay United secured a well-earned, 1-0 win over Whangarei FC and Kamo defeated Onerahi, 4-2.
