Daniel Taylor jailed five years and seven months

Kaitaia businessman Daniel Luke Taylor, 37, a youth leader with the Latter Day Saints, has been sentenced to five years and seven months jail.

He will have to serve at least half his sentence before he is eligible for parole.

Taylor's lawyer has confirmed there will no appeal of the sentence handed down to him this morning.
