The Umpires Tournament set for last weekend was postponed because of the bad weather that swamped Northland.

A new date has been arranged for September 19 at Kamo greens.

The tourney will be played as any combination fours. Please re-enter with the Umpires Tournament convener Bruce Scott.

The Umpires Association is conducting courses for full technical officers (new umpires) and measurers.

If you would like to learn the art of measuring-only, you are welcome to attend. The Association is pleased with the response and anyone else wishing to take either of these courses is asked to call the Umpires head-tutor, Maureen Parker, or the Association Secretary, Jacqui Howarth, for more information.
