Bloodlines Whangaruru showed why they're top of the table in the Jennian Home Super Basketball League, thanks largely to a 25-point haul from Keeghan Sadler.
Sadler's game high haul helped his side to come out on top of the Maunu Lights 93-82 in Kamo, supported ably by Tevin Henare with
12 and Imrahn Henare with 11.
In what was a fast-paced game on Saturday, Maunu stayed in touch thanks to contributions from Josh Martinac [22], James Martinac [18], and Hayden Hill [17].
In other SBL matches, the City Hawks came out on top 49-37 in a low-scoring affair against the Raumanga Royals.
Herb Smith top scored with 28 for City, supported by Jono Lawson [18] and Kurtis Tito [15]. For Raumanga, Klay Rouse scored 22, Scott McDonald 15, and Francis Heremaia 14.
