Four Athletics Whangarei athletes travelled to Wellington to take part in the Athletics New Zealand National Track and Field Championships.
Walker Corrine Smith repeated her 2014 success with another bronze medal in the 20km walk.
Smith's time, which was held on a course in Upper Hutt, of 1 hour and52 minutes was faster than her 2014 time and, subject to ratification, will stand as a New Zealand Masters National Record.
The 3000m Track Walk provided Smith with a second bronze medal.

A personal best of 60.91m saw him win by more than 7m and further strengthened his No1 spot in the national rankings.
Following the hammer competition Gregory added a silver medal with a second place in the Youth Shot.
For jumper Claire Fuller, this was her first Athletics National Championships and she rose to the challenge recording a lifetime best (1.53m) to place ninth in the youth high jump.
