Whangarei SPCA always has lots of animals in need of new homes. Our Pet of the Week feature aims to help them find a loving family.

Ozzie is a 17-week-old staffy cattle cross.

He's a lovely boy, with a sweet nature and good basic manners.

He is one of the many puppies and dogs still available for adoption at the Whangarei SPCA.

The pens are overcrowded with gorgeous puppies and dogs so, to help find them good homes, the SPCA is halving prices over the school holidays. The usual adoption criteria applies.

Female dogs and puppies cost $125 and males $100 including desex, microchip, and treatment for worms and fleas. It does not include registration with the council which much be done before your new canine companion can go home.

A full gallery of the dogs can be seen here.
