FETTUCCINE WITH HOT RED PEPPER SAUCE
300g dry fettuccine pasta
2 teaspoons canola oil
2 red peppers (capsicum), julienned
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce or to taste
1 cup light sour cream
cup each: chicken
stock, grated parmesan cheese
salt and pepper to taste
Bring a large saucepan of lightly salted water to the boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to the packet instructions. Drain.
Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large frying pan and saute the peppers, garlic and tabasco over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes.
