Northland Waste is a 100% kiwi owned and operated company looking for a loyal and dedicated Transfer Station operation located at our remote rural transfer station, Oakura.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Providing a great customer experience at the Transfer Station.
• Helping customers with product disposal who come to site.
• Running a tidy and meticulously maintained site at all times.
• Ensuring product separation into the correct bins.
• Cash handling experience.
• Ensuring the transfer station is open at the specified hours.
Hours of work will be 34 hours per week during the summer and seasonally 20 hours per week over the winter months. This may suit a semi-retired, or someone local who is looking for an outdoors, autonomous role.
You will be in a sole charge position at all times so you will need to be extremely reliable, punctual and trustworthy. Any applicants with prior dishonesty related criminal records need not apply.
The ability to pass a clean drug test is also a must for this position.
