Hawke's Bay solobike rider Andrew Bargh collected a first, two seconds and a third at his first meeting in England this week.
Bargh, 18, is contracted to Wimbledon, where former world champions Ronnie Moore and Barry Briggs rode. He is the NZ under-21 champion, the North Island champion and also the
Manawatu champion.
The brother of Bay TQ driver, Christine Bargh, he is contracted to Palmerston North during the summer because solos don't race regularly at Meeanee. He is boarding with English rider Jason Bunyon, who won this summer's international series in New Zealand, including a Meeanee round.
