Hawke's Bay speedway personalities dominated the podium when two North Island titles were fought out in Gisborne at the weekend.
Craig Ramsay was unbeaten in all of his races on the way to claiming the North Island solobike title. His Feilding-based Hawke's Bay clubmate Jason McKay was second and Aucklander
Dylan Hancock third.
Another Bay veteran, Graham Wedlake, just missed the podium with his fourth placing.
Hawke's Bay's Todd cousins, Duane and Todd, were second and third respectively in the North Island TQ championship. Gisborne-based Western Springs-contracted Dylan MacGregor won the title.
The former Hawke's Bay-contracted driver had previously won the national and New Zealand Grand Prix titles this season.
