Former All Black Andy Earl will be among the guests at a charity dinner and auction for infertility in Napier next week.
A veteran of 45 games, including 14 tests for the ABs from 1986- '92, Earl, who has personal knowledge of infertility, is on a mission to help raise money
for other infertile couples desperate to try their luck with in vitro fertilization.
During the next two months he will bike through all 27 rugby provinces to raise money. In addition to attending the fundraising function at Ormlie Lodge on August 13 he will attend the Kelt Capital Magpies Air New Zealand NPC opener against division two champions Nelson Bays at Napier's McLean Park the same day.
Among the items to be auctioned at the function are a $500 advertising voucher from MoreFM, two nights' accommodation at Ormlie Lodge and a signed Hurricanes poster.
Earl and his wife Theresa have three children and the first was conceived with the help of IVF.
