A woman has been arrested after allegedly assaulting a teenager at the Thirsty Whale pub in Napier this morning.
The 19-year-old was assaulted with a glass and suffered serious lacerations to her face, police said.
A 25-year-old woman was located and arrested a short distance away from the Thirsty Whaleand will appear in the Napier District Court next week.
Police are appealing to patrons of the Thirsty Whale who witnessed the assault to contact them on (06) 873 0500 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
