On Friday, November 11, at high tide there was more erosion from the big sea. This problem could have been solved with six truck loads of rocks and two hours with a back-hoe to place them.
Mr Dallimore I share your despair.

Still cruising in
With reference to your correspondent Vic Jennings' claim (LTTE, November 12) that "Napier has lost much of its port business to Tauranga and will (also) lose cruise ships", the Port of Napier is about to report (another) strong year, including for the number of cruise vessels handled.
While it is encouraging to see a new tourism operator seeking to expand, we firmly suggest the facts don't support his contentions about the Port of Napier.
Your readers may not be aware that Napier is rated by passengers as the top cruise seaport call in New Zealand.
