This year the Piece-makers market and the Havelock Handmade market will also be involved pushing the carnival throughout the village. The two markets will be in their usual spots and serving up the best of local arts and crafts.

The Havelock North Function Centre will be overflowing with Carnival action. With the Keirunga Arts & Crafts Society showcasing several of their groups, namely spinners and weavers, potters, folk art, quilters and painters. A pop-up store, Paterson Rose, is selling children's linen and accessories and Pure Catering is offering tea, coffee and refreshments throughout the day.

Many lucky locals will also be heading to the carnival with pockets full of carnival cash which can be won through The Hits with Sarah and Martin leading into the carnival.
