Two people have been taken to Hawke's Bay Hospital following a crash in Napier this morning.

A police spokesperson said the crash occurred just after 7am on the corner of Willowbank Ave and Geddis Ave in Meeanee.

A spokesperson for Fire and Emergency New Zealand said the crash involved two vehicles.

A St John spokesperson said one person had moderate injuries and one had minor injuries.
