Two men, aged 51 and 33, were arrested as a result and charged with a variety of offences including possession of methamphetamine for supply, possession of ammunition, possession of cannabis and receiving.
Among the items located at one of the addresses searched was a distinctive tandem-axle trailer along with an A-frame fitting that attaches to the front of a vehicle and enables the vehicle to be towed.

Detective Sergeant Craig Vining from the Eastern District Tactical Crime Unit said police needed ongoing assistance from the public in helping to identify neighbourhood drug activity.
It was necessary "so that we can hold these offenders to account and get them to where they deserve to be - in prison".
Mr Vining said communities where drug offenders plied their illegal trade in were "sick of the scourge of methamphetamine" and the harmful impacts it had on families.
He urged anyone with suspicions drug activity could be taking place somewhere to contact police.
Late last month, just a week after police stopped a vehicle on State Highway 5 and uncovered about half a kilogram of methamphetamine, a similar amount was seized after a man was stopped in the carpark of the Warehouse carpark in Napier.
Eastern Field Crime Manager Inspector Mike Foster said the incidents had clearly revealed Hawke's Bay was not immune to "major drug activities".
"We are working extremely hard to try to stop the flow of drugs into the area and it is hugely important that the community work with us to stamp out this activity and keep our people safe."
