Two injured in crash near Clive

One person with serious injuries and another with moderate injuries have been removed from two cars that crashed just north of Clive this morning.

A police spokesperson said police were called about about 8.45am by a passer-by who said two cars had collided and then gone into the ditch.

The accident happened just north of Clive on State Highway 2 near Hohepa Homes.

Two females, one in her early 20s and the other in her early 50s, were currently still being assessed in Hawke's Bay Hospital's emergency department.
