Two children remain in a critical condition following a vehicle crash on State Highway 5, near Te Haroto.
Emergency services were called to SH5, at the intersection with Mcvicar Rd near Te Haroto after a car hit a tree at 4pm on Sunday.
Five people were taken to hospital following
the crash.
A Hawke's Bay District Health Board spokeswoman said two children are in a critical condition.
A girl is in ICU at Hawke's Bay Hospital and a boy was transferred to Starship Hospital last night and is in a serious condition.
