The Tremains Community Trust has just opened nominations for 2020. This year the trust has $17,000 to assist the Hawke's Bay community.
The Tremains Community Trust is a registered charity for the purposes of financially aiding individuals who are in need of assistance and support in the medical, educational andsocial development areas.
The trust is designed to ease the burden for those who don't normally put their hand out in our community and make a difference in their lives.
In 2018 the community trust opened nominations just before Christmas with $20,000 going out into the community and assisting in many forms. In 2017 it assisted almost 60 individuals in the Hawke's Bay community through petrol vouchers, grocery vouchers and many other forms of assistance.
"The Tremains Community Trust has grown significantly in the past four years, giving away over $100,000 to more than 100 recipients since its inception in 2016," says Tremain Real Estate managing director Simon Tremain.
By using third party nominations, this allows neighbours, friends or family to put these individuals forward. Nominations for the Tremains Community Trust close Thursday, November 12, 2020.
