Argentinian tourist Ariadna Maskiver wants to go home.
The backpacker has been living in Napier for five months on a working holiday but had her trip soured when she had more than $3000 worth of items stolen from her car.
The 30-year-old lost her camera, passport, driver's licence and credit
cards in the theft on Bluff Hill last week. The thief used her credit card in five transactions at a local supermarket, racking up a $400 bill.
Without her passport and licence, she is stranded in the region for the time being.
"I'm just very sad and frustrated. I don't really care about the camera ... it is the documents I want back."
