This year local Hastings student Jorja Fryer from Karamu High School will have her work on display.
Gallery educator said it is exciting that the exhibition is coming to Hastings.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for students to see what it takes to achieve excellence on their boards, as well as provide ideas and inspiration for their work, themes and folio layout. We also have some boards on display from students from Hastings schools, which is wonderful to see!"
NZQA deputy chief executive assessment Kristine Kilkell said the exhibition provides the opportunity to celebrate secondary school artists.
"It also helps people to understand what is required to achieve Excellence at Level 3."
The exhibition will run until August 7 and the gallery is open 10am to 4.30pm.
