Hawke's Bay has plenty of activities and events for people of all ages to enjoy. We list nine of the best on offer this weekend.

1. F.A.W.C!
The Food and Wine Classic's 2018 Summer Series kicked off yesterday and will run until November 11, with events all around the region.
While a number of events have sold out this weekend, there are several still on offer. These include F.A.W.C! day out at Black Barn Vineyards and Eat Napier at Bistronomy.

2. The Spring Fling 2018 - Central Hawke's Bay
A series of 30 events from September to November capture the essence of springtime in Central Hawke's Bay.

3. Run Red for Children ParkRun
Help children who have had to flee for their lives. Last year, every hour the equivalent of 32 classrooms of children, throughout the world had to flee their homes due to conflict or disaster. These children need shelter, food, water and education. Save the Children are asking people to Run Red and be sponsored as part of a fundraising event called Charlie's Challenge anytime from now until November 27.

4. St Matthews Spring Fair & Food Festival
This is a great event for people of all ages. There will be lots of children's games and activities, second-hand items, accessories stalls, raffles, children's stalls, pot plants, sausage sizzle and a taste of international cuisine with entertainment and performance.
St Matthew's Anglican Church, 200 King St South, Hastings. Today, 9am to 12pm.

5. Soundz Over The Lake
Soundz over the lake's Music & fireworks festival is back and ready to light up the skies with epic music and massive fireworks. With a dedicated large alcohol-free family zone, food carts, VIP tents, corporate tents and bar on site it's set to be a spectacular affair

6. Speedway and Fireworks Spectacular
The second night of the 2018 Speedway season will end with a bang, with the annual Fireworks Spectacular. Prior to that, expect plenty of action when the Stockcar drivers hit the track.

7. Stan Walker
Stan Walker is back on the road performing 12 incredible shows across Aotearoa with his highly anticipated 'New Takeover Tour'. This is an opportunity to get up close and personal with Stan as he performs his new music, along with the music you all know and love.

8. Landslide - Fleetwood Mac & Stevie Nicks Tribute Show
Landslide is an Auckland-based, live five-piece band, who have been celebrating the music of Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks all over the North Island for the past six years. Full lighting and sound system with liberal four-part harmonies help to bring these amazing, classic songs to life.

9. Pukehamoamoa School Garden Walk
Every year Pukehamoamoa School holds their major fundraiser. Eight beautiful gardens will be available to explore, ranging from native plantings to established homestead gardens. There will also be market stalls at the school to do a spot of shopping.
