Hawke's Bay has plenty of activities and events on for people of all ages to enjoy. We list 8 of the best on this weekend.

1. Truffle Hunt
This is an opportunity to take part in a truffle hunt. Walk with the dog, get down and smell the earth to identify
where that truffle is, and then dig through the soil to find the prize, Black Gold – tuber melanosporum – Perigord Black Truffle. Numbers are strictly limited so book now to truly experience one of the world's most exclusive food journeys.

2. August Dine & Dance

4. Sacred Hill Off Road Half Marathon 15k & 6.5k Trail Run
This is trail running at its very best! Choose from a half marathon, a 12k or dip your toes in with the 5k. Walkers are welcome in the 12k and 5k events.

5. Keirunga Quilters
This is the last day of the exhibition which features 75 quilts. Gold coin entry.
Havelock North Convention Centre. Tomorrow, 10am to 4pm.

6. Baching At the Moon
This is a rare opportunity to hear all Six Suites performed in the beautiful atmosphere and sensitive acoustic of the historic St Paul's Church. General admission is $25, concession is $15 and children 15 and under are free.

7. Schools Night - The Next Generation of Jazz
