Hawke's Bay has plenty of activities and events for people of all ages to enjoy. We list 8 of the best on this weekend.

1. Balanced and Barefoot
Hear Angela Hanscom, a paediatric occupational therapist, speak about why unrestricted movement and outdoor play are vital for a child's cognitive and physical development. Wendy Pirie, Director of TimberNook New Zealand will also share her insights into the hidden 'gems' of outdoor play and why they influence education.

2. Summer Sessions
Kickback and relax and listen to the chilled sounds of local talents while sipping away on boutique wines and beers in the vines.

6. 88 Pianos I Have Know-Jan Preston

7. Shed 2 Triathlon Series Race # 5 (Club Champs & HBSS Champs)
This series is recommended for anyone aged 13 and over from absolute beginners to seasoned athletes.
Walkers are welcome and encouraged to enter. You can do the event as an individual or if that seems a bit much, get a friend and do it as a team. You could even get two friends and really have a fun and relaxed day out there.
