Hawke's Bay has plenty of activities and events for people of all ages to enjoy. We list 8 of the best on offer this weekend.

1. F.A.W.C!

This weekend is the last of the Winter F.A.W.C! events for 2017. The last of the events not already sold out are: Toasted at Shed 1, Blue Note and Black Tie at Elephant Hill Estate Winery, and When Kent Met Emma at Monowai Estate. Info, visit: http://www.fawc.co.nz/events/view-events/

2. Matariki Market

Perfect for people of all ages, the market has a selection of new and used goods, including greenstone pendants, jewellery, toys and clothing, household goods, plants and knitting. Fresh fruit and vegetables will also be available to purchase.

3. CMNZ Presents: Kuijken Quartet

5. Mitre 10 Trade Men's Day Out Golf Tournament

6. Norsewood to Takapau Fun Challenge

The 12th annual Norsewood to Takapau Fun Challenge is the perfect family day out, with all profits from the day going toward local community causes.

You can participate in the challenge as either an individual or part of a team, as well as choosing if you would prefer to run-walk-relay 21km or 10km, or cycle 20km, 30km or 40km. Free shuttle buses will be provided either way between the start and finish points before and after the event.

7. Napier Off Road Half Marathon, 13k & 7k Trail Run

The event takes place near the Napier-Taupo road turn-off. Choose from a half-marathon, a 13km trail run or a 7km trail run. Walkers are welcome in the 13km and 7km events. This is event four of six the Hawke's Bay Trail Running Series.

You can enter one or all the remaining races. Strictly no entries on the day. Tomorrow, 9am to 1.30pm. Pan Pac Eskdale Mountain Bike Park, Waipunga Rd, Eskdale.

8. Black Barn Cyclocross Hawke's Bay Series 2017

Cyclocross (CX) takes elements from both road and mountain bike racing and presents it as a spectator-friendly, short, fast race that all ages and skill levels can enjoy.

Part of a series of four events, this is the second. Each event offers the Balance Bikes and Parent & Child fun ride, Arataki Future Stars Kids 7 and under, as well as Freeman Decorating Future Star Kids 10 and under and CX45 (45 minutes) & CX30 (30 minutes).
