Hawke's Bay has plenty of activities and events for people of all ages to enjoy. We list 13 of the best on offer this Easter Weekend.

1. Napier Performing Arts Competitions

The Easter Festival takes place in Napier every year. It is a five-day event that brings together young talent from throughout New Zealand. The categories are ballet, tap and jazz dancing, senior vocal, aria, junior vocal, instrumental and speech. Napier Municipal Theatre, Napier. From tomorrow until Monday, from 8am. 2. Alliance Francaise French Film Festival 2018

3. John Butler Trio & Special Guests

Revered for their live performances and superb musicianship, the John Butler Trio are one of the most successful Australian bands of the current era and are returning to New Zealand for a one-off show.
