Rugby World Cup

*   Nice one new world! Santa has never looked better! Go all blacks!

*   Be honest. Zac is a normal 22 year old male. Why are we so judgmental.

*   Has Zac really got a drinking problem? It's probably what most young men do to celebrate!

*   Whoever said Zac doesn't deserve to be in the ABs get over yourself, he is human like anyone else and humans make mistakes. Or are you perfect?

*   Zac needs to listen to what coaches expect off him and he will go a long way rather than doing what he likes

Warriors

*   Go the Mighty Warriors, awesome, bring it home on Sunday, FY

*   As a devoted All Blacks fan I ask all Kiwis to divert some of our support to Warriors next weekend. Three teams playing Grand Finals. Go Warriors. Brian Bulford.

*   Male shopper Can't believe the arrogance of the women picking on efficient male shopper. They are obviously single or in a bad relationship. Most people are very happy when their partner does chores like shopping. He is obviously a good husband and if a father a good role model. The supermarket is not a women's store.

*   Hey guys next time you go to Pak'nSave you'll agree with me that women shoppers hog the aisles. But I'm pleased I got a response from two of the culprits.

*   Re female shoppers standing around talking blocking others: .When my hubby and I try to walk past them with a polite excuse us we get a dirty look and can't move.

*   Protesters Anti abortionists do have a life and are saving lives. They are not protesters but people who believe in saving lives and I take my hat off to all concerned. Keep smiling and keep the faith.

*   To those that think abortion is a personal choice: As a taxpayer I don't want to keep paying for your personal choice to abort at approximately $1500 a pop.

*   To the people who text in against abortions and to the woman who text in re her own infertility (I'm sorry for your pain) but why should any woman feel guilty because of your nameless, faceless judgmental texts? For lots of women abortion is the only choice, and one of the hardest they have to make! You have no idea of their home situation, stop judging! A.A

Other thoughts

*   Gascoigne Street is disgusting.

*   A yellow light means slow down, not speed up!

*   I am so fed up of media referring to Flaxmere and/or its councillors as coming from Hastings when news is positive and Flaxmere when news is negative. Give credit where credit due!

*   To the idiot woman in the dark car with young child in front seat: Turn your bass down and slow down. You may not care about your ears or life but the kid has no choice.

*   All patched gang members are part of a criminal organisation. Does the law only apply to some? SF

*   Well done to the judge for sentencing the seal basher. Child molesters and rapists should get the same deterrent.

*   Council need to review dump charges or have staff clean up river bank. Disgusted at amount of rubbish dumped.

*   Why should insurance premiums be increased? What's happened to the millions of dollars worth of home and contents and earthquake insurance premiums paid to companies for over 30 years by thousands of individuals?

*   Got to agree with A Cavaney. Bunch of wannabe gangsters with nothing better to do but look intimidating. Only blight on an otherwise good family outing. KH

*   I had to visit the Hawke's Bay Hospital recently. What a joke, what with no parking and a grotty hospital and that's called progress. SM

*   What's with the traffic lights set to wait for pedestrians to cross when there aren't any, especially at night?

*   For all the effort in going to make the intersections around the Hawke's Bay Airport safer some people still doing it wrong. . Know of two near misses with trucks.

*   If you pay your rates monthly check your latest rates demand. Bottom right hand corner shows how much you will be paying for the next year. Mine was wrong, $20 a month too much.

*   Is the council happy with the finished product of Omahu Road? For I'm not. My rates pay for sub standard of workmanship.

*   Agree that school staff should not be encouraged to park outside schools. I know of a semi-rural school where support staff take up parent parks all day. Kids safety first!

*   I presume the name Nelson will appear somewhere in the new development that sits on the old Nelson Park site that was gifted to the city?

*   When are Kiwis going to buy NZ made and get this country working? FMJ

*   Congratulations to Raureka School for such a wonderful show. It was amazing.

*   Well done to the children and staff of Raureka School. What a fantastic show Artrageous was! 27O amazing costumes worn by 27O great performers. The school can be very proud! Jenny.
