* Please can someone clean up pandora pond its filthy and has a lot of undesirables hanging around on weekends causing trouble.
* I could not agree more with David Norman re Taradale intersection and roundabout rules. It's all about traffic flow people! JC
* Well said David Norman. I find the drivers at that intersection particularly ignorant of road code! MG
* If David Norman or anyone else toots at me at intersection I will keep him waiting longer! Not his place to toot motorists "for educational purposes".
* What's the bet that the people having a whinge about the ducks are townies and have no idea the damage they do to the country bumpkins' grass or crops. KGT
* Re club hockey comment: I was wondering the same about HB intercity league. Netball is No 1 women's sport in NZ, but not a key code worthy of coverage eh?
* To the geezer who complained that HB Today should report on more hockey and less on football, I went down the pub last night and played a bit of darts and pool with a few mates. Should Anendra have been there to report on that as well? RG
* To say it is on the borders of being unethical to use children to get signatures to keep Marineland open when they have a right to care is silly. The animals they are protecting were either rescued and can not be returned to the wild, may be put down. The Californian seals are not found on NZ shores. Some have been born in captivity. A job well done! Children keep up the good work. GH
* Why are mayors and councillors getting a pay rise when we others have to tighten our belts.
* Our paper delivered to Whakatu always in plastic bag sun or rain.
