- As a rate payer within Napier why should I pay towards public transport? I do not use a bus as l have a car. Why should I need to pay for public transport? Bump the bus fares up so as the user pays for the factor. From what l understand the bus fares are far too cheap.
- Regional rates, they seem to add on to it every year. Stop spendng our money. Pay packets can only stretch so far! Government is full of over-spenders who are in denial and also incapable of living on the petty incomes down here like the rest of us hardworkers. Petrol, food, rate rises. Cheaper to get drunk than eat. Ask yourselves why NZ has gone bad. Where's all the Christchurch donated money? G.Tee
- Shame on Hastings and Regional Council for using out of town architects for Te Mata. Are there none in the Bay? Keep money and jobs in the Bay. GW
- Good on NCC taking out free parking from Lee Rd. How long before they make paid parkiing in Maraenu, Marewa and Onekawa and ruin them like Taradale?
- When aircraft vapour trails take far too long to disappear you wonder if they actualy are ordinary vapour trails or something far more toxic and sinister.
- All very flash for Te Mata Peak, new cafe, visitor centre, mini shuttle. I hope we do not loose the freedom of the Peak, as this all sounds like 'let's charge for using the Peak. JVR
- Great Deco Christchurch concert at HB Opera House and worthy of the standing ovation it received. Congratulations to Tessa May Brown and all who took part. Great line up of artists. BGR
- Went to supermarket to get 2 litre flavoured milk as a treat. Bugger that, nearly $8. Is there any chance someone could justify this price please.
- Just spent time with Phil Goff, nice man, not like he is portrayed.
- That new Lynx ad on TV that demonises angels. Just plain wrong.
- It is criminal idiocy to drill for oil anywhere near a known earthquake fault. S.H.
