* I would like to know why we can not get our paper in town in a plastic bag? Not good getting a wet newspaper!
* Circulation Manager: All of our runner boys and girls try to keep the paper as dry as possible, if you have a wet or damaged paper please call us on (06 ) 873 0802 and we will replace it and see what can be done to stop it happening again.
* Do not blame the National Government for the $36 million to Team NZ. It was promised by the Labour Government in a fixed agreement that National has no choice but to honour.
* Totally agree with law commission re Kronic. My view is do we really need more rubbish for youth to get their hands on R18 will be no deterrent at all! Total ban is the only solution because it's the morally, safe and right thing to do. It seems people are too afraid to use that word these days!
* What a joke sending PD workers to Waimarama. One van with about 10 workers arrived with trailer and shovels, it was raining so the supervisor asked staff at the fire station for inside jobs as PD workers are not allowed to work in the rain. Yeah right! They were told in no uncertain terms to go back to Hastings as the volunteers who came out in busses were up to their necks in mud and good on them. The PD workers then drove to the toilet block, sat for an hour then went home. CF
* Neither excellent hygiene or organic food provide antibodies against bacteria and viruses. Vaccination does!
* Let's get real. Giant rugby ball. and other promotions not needed. The country is broke and money could be spent better elsewhere. Napier's Art Deco wonderful for tourists and that is enough. WT
* To the so called "anti smoker" I think you are against smokers by your nonsensical and confusing comments saying it is a 'dirty addiction'. Smoking is a hard habit to break and with the powers that be making it harder for people to smoke they don't need people like you complaining about 'clouds of smoke' as you walk through. Have you ever thought of crossing the road? Smokers have rights too. Sorry to say but you're out in the open air where people will light up! MW
