* Bruce Bisset shows his ignorance again. Farmers put on fertiliser on expert's advice, and plant when they can afford to fence off areas. Mortgage comes first. Easy for him to criticise but he only sees part of the picture. HH

* Why does Shortland Street always start a couple of minutes before 7 and finish a couple minutes after 7.30? Not everyone loves Shortland Street.
* Well done to Craig at Mitre 10 for his great service to Mrs Ewens. It's great to read something positive about young people's service.
* Re Hospitality Awards: I'm surprised Lone Star not mentioned. Great food, great coffee, superb service. Keep up the good work.
* About our ducks. Once a year we have duck shooting. It's not a slaughter. GL good on you. Liz Earth and Lesley move on. RH

* To the lady who came off the expressway onto Kennedy Rd, about 3.30pm, Monday, May 9: You just about hit my son on his bike. How dare you not even stop. He was shaking when he got home. Don't you know you have to stop before you go onto Kennedy Rd from expressway? You are so lucky you didn't take my son's life.
* Couldn't agree more with NW and PB. Harawira is the biggest racist in NZ, and is going to cause major trouble. AM
* Nice to have a gold plated MPs' super scheme. Let's tinker with that!
