Car park
* Wow what a real moaner person who text about waiting for someone's carpark at Pak'nSav while person returned trolley, then talk to a friend. Is that illegal? Go find another park
* The person who was moaning about waiting for a park at Pak'nSave while lady talked to her
friend - get a life. Plenty of car parks there and exercise will do you good.
* Re Pak'nSave carpark, why should that lady stop chatting to her friend. That carpark is hers till she decides to leave after completing her business.
Other thoughts
* Totally agree with Garth McVicar. To trap, neuter, return would save NZ millions in less jails, court costs, lawyers, police etc etc. If only.
* Pip Harrison speaks for me, thank you. I have no respect for McVicar's destructive views either. Kay
* I agree with the lady in motorised wheelchair. Lyn at Farmers is always lovely to deal with and has always got a friendly smile to give along with some great service. Keep up the good work Lyn!
* Awesome, awesome job by Mike Barker and his guys over the long weekend at Kairakau Beach. They went beyond the call. Many many thanks from all. KB
* A big thank you to the person who picked up my wallet at the Hastings Farmers' Market and handed it in. Well done!
* To the ignorant drivers who park their cars on Havelock taxi stand on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights between 9pm and 3am - shame on you all. Hope they get towed away.
* Visited Farmer's carpark toilets on weekend, had to exit without using, nearly throwing up. Even with door wide open the stench off floors and walls not cleaned was disgusting, so gross. How often are these cleaned NCC? Obviously not enough - shameful.
* Great letter Ken Taylor. I totally agree with your comments re interest and tax. Please explain more about $200 tax free allowance re interest earned. Thank you.
* I remember Spirit of Napier when I was a kid 40-plus years ago. She was and is still an icon, as much so as Pania. Both created for a lifetime!
* Re hot night in: Some people take things to seriously. Eva does not have low self esteem, she simply gave us a light hearted laugh at herself and her night in.
* Come on people, you make a conscious choice to shop, so bring your carry bags, and stop moaning when you are charged 10 cents a bag! Green NZ yeah right! Claire
* Super Napier makes sense. And let's avoid 'brand' rivalry by holding a competition for a new name. Perhaps Maori Heretaunga and not some English person famous for colonial service in India? SJ
* Well done to all school choirs in Big Sing Concert - fantastic! Great effort from students teachers and organisers.
* Well done to those three young heroes who rescued a young girl from those two low lifes in Hastings - good brave stuff.
* More "nice to haves" from our example setting top public servants the pollies. Free tickets to the RWC! Truly we are led by the best. "yeah right"!
* Re Judge Peter Callinicos girls get 3 months: Well done, a judge after my own heart.
* Amen to judge Peter Callinicos on front page. Finally a judge that will not stand for any nonsense! Great sentence. Well done Sir. Let's keep it up.
