*  To the person complaining that there are no jobs for the underclass - we get about 3000 oversee worker each year into Hawke's Bay to get the work done. Just get up and get one of those jobs. Dominik
*  Why doesn't council reduce our rates and spend our money
where it's needed most not on these stupid cycle lanes. GRH
*  If we allowed credit card payments for medical fees, consultation fee would be dearer as the banks take a commision and that would have to be passed onto patient.
*  For anyone supporting Labour's proposal to raise the minimum wage to $15. Do you want to pay $6 for 2 litres of milk? Do you want to pay $2.50 for a litre of petrol? Because that's what will happen. Business owners will simply pass the higher wage cost onto customers. So any wage increase will get swallowed up with price increases. No one wins.
*  You can wear a bhurka but not a hoodie in banks etc. Is that fair?
*  What's the rush to hold gas prices? Every time petrol goes up so does gas. Trouble is they haven't remembered that gas shoud be reduced in price too! Public be aware - looks lik a rip off to me. PGW
*  To Mark Annand. Maybe if Hastings council didn't have huge debts Napier wouldn't be so against amalgamation. Yule just trying to lessen debt and burden Napier. SH
