* We will all be able to speed if police not allowed to chase us.
* Re quitters tap into help: I was a serious smoker three months ago but after reading Allen Car's Easy Way to Stop Smoking I stopped, no problem no anger or pain. In fact I enjoy
not smoking. And I am definitely not the only one this has worked for. Government and health providers should endorse this book. LH
* Could the gals of HGHS use commonsense and cross Pakowhai Rd in groups so traffic not banked up to Evenden Rd and Stortford Lodge.
* I see China has $6 billion to buy up NZ assets. Some time ago John Key said we should learn to speak Mandarin. Now I know why. J C Napier
* Well done to NZ Post. Our mail was delivered to wrong mail box so the people there put it in bin because they couldn't be bothered walking down the road to us. Unfair.
* The three boys that stood up to men bigger than them to save a young girl should feel very proud! That was awesome and you will go a long way in life with that kind of caring. Well done!
* Tutira Store 'poo' case solved. Sensible explanation of course. I hope this puts to rest this silly nonsense. Human excrement can not be discharged from commercial planes in flight! JH
* What happened to the slide at Queen Square park? It had been there for years, now it's gone, sadly missed. Bring slide back Council! FO
* Would be nice to have fundraising and support for HB flood affected families rather than Christchurch earthquake.
* Shame on the Normans gloating about wealth and paying loyal staff minimum wages.
* Wow, the Sweeney Todd Operetta was fantastic! The orchestra sounded amazing, the set was perfect, the chair and blood were spectacular and the cast really shone. Big thumbs up to the director Carol Della Barca - and to Opera HB. I can't wait for your next project!
* Why does the NCC need to ask Auckland Zoo for advice on Marineland animals when Marineland staff are experts in this field? SE
* Has Hastings council gone mad with cycle lanes? They are getting more road then motorist and no bikes to be seen.
