*   Small book. Very small print. Telecom cost saver? Meg

*   I wonder if it's legal for dog owners to squirt yappy dogs with a single hand held water pistol? One in particular in Douglas McLean at 5 in the morning comes to mind.

*   A big thumbs down to the person or persons who ran down the little cat on Westminster Ave on Friday night during the fireworks display at Park Island. You didn't even stop and were seen by lots of people especially children who have been traumatised by your disgusting actions! It was a family pet and you ruined the night for everyone! Shame on you! Karma will get you!

*   Would like to hear from any Taxi Co as to why it cost a mum with a sick baby a $50 fare from the hospital to Napier? Seems a lot for distance.

*   Napier buzzing at 9am. Cruise ship arrived 6am.Tourist arrived by bus 7am. Had money to spend. Back to ship Ipm. Hello, retailers didn't open until 10am! Lost venue. BM.

*   Tipping made compulsory during tourist season compensates for low wages, also ups the service. DH

*   A big thumbs up to the fire fighters who helped put the Hawkpackaging fire out and to the Salvation Army for feeding the firefighters and forklift drivers who saved the factory. Great job guys! From Hawkpackaging staff! H.S

*   Leave the flag as it is. Our forefathers in both world wars plus Korea and other battles fought and saved us from being invaded by the Japanese and Germans. Ask a RSA personal for their opinion. I believe they would shun the idea of changing the flag.
