Clothing bins

*   Hope you are all satisfied! No clothing bins in Southland Rd now because of all the rubbish dumped illegally.

*   Rugby World Cup To the critic of Justin Marshall, Sky comments man, if you can't appreciate precise, clear analysis you should settle for Mexted's commentary MKJ

*   DP seems to have a problem with Justin Marshall. Has he ever listened to Grant Fox? Now that's where a mute button is a necessity!

*   Could someone please tell Murray Mexted he is not a World Cup TV commentator. Murray read this - do something else. Don't be such a bias commentator. Stay neutral or get off air.

*   Napier has hosted RWC well. Great night at rugby and enjoyable evenings around Ahuriri bars with the absence of usual Saturday night riffraff a big plus.

*   Justin Marshall is a great comments man. Very knowledgeable and refreshing. Grant Fox is the boring one. I use the mute button or change channel.

*   Awesome game Aussie against Russia. I'm a proud Kiwi and All Black fan who would like to show my support to our Aussie mates over the ditch, and you are the best Izzy! KS

*   Japan team didn't have time to brighten up students day at Karamu High School but had time for an afternoon at Craggy Range. Not good PR. KI

Male Shopper

*   Just thought I'd share with some of you melancholic anti efficient male shopper other gender people a wee bit about myself. I am happily married have been for over 25 years. Yes I do the grocery shopping. Prepare and cook tea every n?t and regularly buy my wife flowers for no apparent reason. Must have been a good catch. And we still kiss.

*   Man complaining about grocery shopping get a life.

*   Re male shopper. Agree with you big time and so does my wife. By the way mega store does have women only nights and EIT does women only farming courses. Sexist maybe?

Other thoughts

*   If the wealth of the world were evenly distributed, world poverty and crime would be completely eliminated. RB

*   Fontera/dairy farmers holding NZ people and children to ransom!! We would drink water but it's dirty. KA

*   Borrowing or printing more money is not going to solve the problem of global debt. Prosecuting the greedy, thieving corporate rogues at the top might.

*   Regarding caregivers. $13.45 per hour wages $2.12 petrol per hour? Gee I get $1.60 petrol per hour! And $12.75 per hour for wages. I may need to switch. No to World Heritage. Good! Now the Napier council and mayor can look around and see there is so much more Napier has to offer tourists and local people.

*   Mental health needs a kick up the you know what. You need to stick to your words. Lee.

*   Just wondering why there are no street lights down Morris Spence? Way too dark down that street. Hurry up and brighten it up.

*   Just put new cell tower up at Stortford Lodge. We are not complaining but I bet Taradale will when their phones stop working. The future's here, stop living in the past.

*   As a taxpayer I am disgusted that women in prison get to keep their kids until they are two years old. Are we rewarding them for their crimes now at our expense. DH

I*   'm going to vote for all the lovely ladies that have sprung up with the blossom this spring!

*   Congratulations to Havelock North High School staff and pupils who took part in musical festival. Awesome, polished performance. J and K Price I agree with MP re public toilets. Everyone gets short at some time. Why can't we have EXELOO public toilet like Hastings. You can read when they are last cleaned. RN

*   Congratulations to Bruce Mctaggert and our Hastings mayor Lawrence Yule for the sponsoring deal of the Black Sticks via Hawke's Bay!
