Gascoigne Street
*  Gascoigne Street. New single lane! Who has right of way? New name Dodgem Street. How come dairy and hairdresser have special parking boxes but doctor's surgery has none and street parking outside surgery is cut by half?
*  Gasgoine Street scary. Thank goodness there is a doctor handy to
pick up and patch up the victims of this disaster the council has made of this street. BI
*  Taking my child to the doctor down Gascoine St, might need to bike. No car parking! TL
Amalgamation
*  Amalgamation needed but bringing ugly divisiveness. Time for a new model of co-operation, twin cities working together afirming each other's strengths.
*  Hawke's Bay people... get over yourselves. In 1997 Napier and Hastings hospitals amalgamated... best ever move. Councils should amalgamate. Best for everyone.
*  Good decison by Napier City Council. We don't need the Hastings City Council debt. Cathy
Other thoughts
 *  Hospital CEO deserves his pay packet. Mr.Snee has done amazing work, motivating and aiding DHB staff, so that patients in and out of Emergency dept within 6hrs.
*  In Pak'nSave, sprayed the body spray and put it back because I didn't like the smell. Got done for stealing, 2 years' trespass from there, is that fair?
*  You need to get your facts right David Bosley. The Labour Party has stated clearly that the family home will be exempt from a capital gains tax. We all pay tax on our investments. Why should those who buy properties as an investment not pay tax on profit made when selling.
*  Percival Rd the only entrance to sportspark. Why was road not completed before netball season? Too narrow, no walking path or cycle lane. Please sort priorities council!
*  Don Brash is right, equality for all people, not extras for us Maori.
*  I love what you have done for the bikes in Hastings. The cycle lanes are great and make me feel a lot safer. MR
