*   Riots in London: Bring back Margaret Thatcher and those hoons will cry like babies.

*    I see the British PM says the law will be hard on the trouble-makers. Hope they take a leaf out of National Party getting hard on crime and the joke sentence shoplifter got in Napier.
I cannot believe I pay tax to such incompetent Govertment people.

*    Started doing Sudoku a year ago - in mags, Sunday papers, puzzle pages etc. "Easy" ones in HB Today are far from easy! Usually more difficult than those labelled "hard". J

*   Chris Tremain emailed me that National is creating jobs. Disturbing then that 16 IRD staff may lose jobs. I won't be voting National again. We want jobs!

*   To the guy who thinks of riding his bike across the Awatoto Bridge in the middle of his lane! Good luck to you. Don't forget this is a 100kph zone.

*   To J Denton. It isn't the family silver. It's selling the back yard and then paying rent forever for it. WCE

*   I have a clear view with my rear view. I have a mirror attached to my cycle helmet, enabling me to see what's coming behind. Wouldn't be without it. BK

*   Doug Walker memorial park is a fantastic and much appreciated facility. It's great to see that our dog registration fees are being well spent. The free poop bags are much appreciated too but could someone from council please check the supply more often. Every time I forget my own poop bag there are none there.
