*    To the person who works for Russell Greer Motors in Napier and rides a big motorcycle. Why do you go so fast down Carlyle Street? Don't you know it's only 50km/h, not 100km/h, and you just about bowled over a little girl who was crossing the road outside Bayswater Subaru/Hyundai car yard. You didn't even see her. Find another race track, not that road. You are a fool not a hero. Slow down is the answer, can't do that then walk, it's not that hard to do.

*    Response to SF the other day. Not only Black Power attack people. All gangs do, so get it right. MK

*    Sale of SOEs: So Key's take on a referendum is "it's called the election". Once again the wishes of the people fall on deaf ears.

*    The Hastings SPCA committee should do the honourable thing and fall on their swords. They were the previous problem, they are the current problem. They mismanage, misrepresent and need to go. Nat

*    Thank you so much to Sharla from Hastings Maccas for fixing my order. Great service, much appreciated.

*    Old Hastings Warehouse would make an awesome indoor go kart track. Crossover ramps and all would make a good track.

*    I'm looking for a DVD starring Vanessa Williams. It's titled "Dance With Me". Does anyone know where I can get it?

*    Re D Glenday letter: Loved your letter. The nuclear free sign is just as much a part of Napier as Art Deco. Good on you for offering to clean it. Mind you if it were a Deco sign it would probably have been done sooner. MM

*    Does anyone know if there is a dentist in Taradale or Napier who lets you pay your visits off.
