*    If you think the Waitangi River has litter in it check out the Awatoto rivermouth. Some of the fisher people that fish there are nothing but pigs. My mate and I took half a ute load of rubbish from there while we were fishing the other day and that's only the start of it. Come on people, take your rubbish back to the carpark bin at least.

*    Have received a letter from our insurance company warning of a substantial increase in our Home Cover policy because of the Christchurch earthquakes. With more quakes looming I wonder if this increase is a work in progress?

*    Congratulations to our CD under 18 cricket team who played in HB. You guys really took it to Wellington in the two-dayer, great win and getting 300 in one-dayer gave you a clean sweep. Good luck for the tournament next week.

*    Ken Taylor you said a mouthful and all true, for which you will no doubt be severely lashed. NZ is neither the land of the free nor the deserving. Well said.

*    Is it possible that the police traffic department do something about the huge number of trucks using their exhaust brakes coming into the roundabout on Taradale Rd from both highways. According to the rule book they are not allowed to use them.

*    ATV training and certification can be done through AgITO.

*    To VW: I walk my dog on city streets. Your dog poo is your responsibility. Take it home and put in rubbish bin like I do.

*    Is there actually any fly spray out there that kills flies.

*    Why is some ice cream so dear in supermarkets and NZ-made to? Better to make your own.
