The Food and Wine Classic, F.A.W.C!, is in its last few days and punters can be sure it'll go out in the same style it came in.

With many of the events already sold out locals had better be quick if they are to snag a spot.

Despite just two days to go, 15 more events are expected to colour the weekend.

Black Barn winery is hosting a secret lunch with Al Brown and Ormlie is having a mad hatter's tea party.

If all of this wining and dining is stressing those belt notches Carie Bolton from Bolt-On Health & Fitness and author of Go Clean & Lean with Carie along with Pauline Korevaar from The Farmhouse Kitchen are putting on a spread of gluten and sugar-free superfood treats - high tea style.

People also have an opportunity to revisit their cultural roots on Sail with Kai in the Bay.

The voyage takes place in a traditional waka and is based on the history of Te Matau a Maui. Ten indigneous dishes will be prepared on board the waka by chef Gretta Carney.

It's promised that by the end of the voyage customers will have an appreciation for indigenous local cuisine, Hawke's Bay and local Maori history.
