Cattle sold well at Stortford Lodge.

Store cattle and lambs sold to expectations at yesterday's Stortford Lodge sale.
A good quality yarding of about 250 cattle and 1450 sheep sold in line with feed supply and easing meat schedules, agents said.

A good-quality line-up of 42 head of cattle, some of them heavy, were back on previous weeks as space tightens.

The ewe offering was back in quality which was reflected in the returns.
The best of the lamb yarding sold well but some pens were harder to sell.
