Best pen of lambs broke through the $200 mark, making $208

Sheep prices kept rising at yesterday's Stortford Lodge store sale.

The best pen of lambs broke through the $200 mark, making $208. The rest of the sale was not far behind with only the smaller ewe lambs behind the play.

There were plenty of bidders even at the higher prices.

Ewes with lambs at foot lifted again to $124.50. The lambs were all terminal breeds and doing well.

The cattle sale was also strong with yearling angus steers making up to $4.21/kg.
