No more waiting for Tessa's debut solo single. The electronic artist, who is also one half of Dunes with her sister Jamie McDell, has shared the song Wait, produced and co-written with Kings, ahead of the release of her debut record later this year.

Kings also appears on the track, which has been described as a "strong slow burner carried by the rumbling bass of the sub and Tessa's sweet and soulful vocals".

Ria Hall has announced a series of performances in support of the release of her upcoming debut album Rules of Engagement.

Hall says the concept of the album draws on themes of love and war, revolution and change.

It will feature performances and production from Tiki Taane, Kings, Che Fu, Laughton Kora and Electric Wire Hustle.

Hall will be accompanied by a full band on tour, with dates including the Taranaki Arts Festival (August 26), Christchurch Arts Festival (August 31), Wellington's San Fran (October 20), Auckland's Tuning Fork (October 22) and the Tauranga Arts Festival on October 28.

Hall will soon release the follow-up single to Tell Me feat. Che Fu - Barely Know feat. Kings - followed by her album in October.

Marlon Williams has had to add extra shows after his November tour sold out. The Kiwi alt-country artist will play extra shows in Auckland and Christchurch after the first dates sold out in minutes.

Williams has released a new single. Vampire Again is his first new music since his 2015 self-titled debut album.

Williams describes the song as "my own demented tale of New Age self-affirmation".

The singer is currently on the road in the US, supporting City & Colour.
