Hawke's Bay has plenty of activities and events for people of all ages to enjoy. We list six of the best on offer this weekend.

(1) Frimley School Fete

Frimley Primary School is hosting its annual fete this afternoon with lots of traditional fun and fare to enjoy. There will be stalls of delicious food, a bake sale, some yummy sweets, the traditional white elephant spread of goodies, as well as apple-bobbing games, bumper balls and face painting.

And one the kids will certainly head for ... dunk the teacher! At Frimley School, Frimley Rd, Hastings, today from noon to 3pm

(2) F.A.W.C! Kai Moana at the Park

At Moana Park Winery, 530 Puketapu Rd, Taradale. From noon to 8pm. All Ages. General admission - under 18 is $5 and 18 and over $20.

(3) Heath Franklin's Chopper In Live From Anzakistan

As seen on TV3's Chopper's Republic of Anzakistan and 7 Days, NZ's biggest selling international comedian is back at the Napier Municipal Theatre tonight for one show only in his funniest outing yet.

After taking over the once great nations of Australia and NZ, rolled them into one, thrown out the bad bits, Chopper has created the world's newest superpower - Anzakistan.

He may not have much experience, but at least you know where he stands ... right behind a moustache.

So join the revolution! At the Napier Municipal Theatre, Tennyson St, show starts at 7.30pm. Ticket Information: Buy Tickets - 0800 842538

(4) Hospice Holly Trail

The 2016 Hospice Holly Trail brings a truly Christmas feel to the gorgeous homes and while it has sold out there is a great accompanying event that all are welcome to attend.

(5) F.A.W.C! Baa Baa Black Sheep Have Ewe Any Wine?

Yes sir, yes sir three barrels full ... as it will be at Kiwiesque in Eskdale tomorrow.

Full of great wine matched with amazing local produce.

Head for the lodge off Linden Close at Eskdale for a long, lazy alfresco lunch.

A variety of dishes focused on the best of spring, including specialty lamb by chef Terry Lowe.

Enjoy a selection of new and vintage wines from Kiwiesque, along with boutique beers from local brewer Christopher Barber of Zealandt.

(6) Deco Swing & Dave Atkin Group

Piano trio Deco Swing perform mainstream jazz standards of the 1930s to 1960s from the "Great American Songbook" at the Napier Sailing Club tomorrow. Stephen Millar is on piano, David Day bass, Gavin Mather drums and special guest Wendy Caldwell reeds and vocals.

And the Dave Atkin Group produces a tight, punchy crossover sound by taking the well-known jazz and blues standards and reworking them with attitude.

There may even be a special guest as well.

Head along to hear two great local bands playing the jazz songs you know and love. Cash bar and meals available.

At the Napier Sailing Club, West Quay, Ahuriri. From 5.30pm to 8.15pm. All ages. Hawke's Bay Jazz Club members $5, general public $15, school students free.
