Only six out of 14 candidates will speak at Dannevirke's Meet the Candidates evening on Wednesday in The Hub.
The meeting was to be held on August 19 but, like many other events, was postponed until Covid-19 alert level 2 was lifted.
The meeting is set for a 6pm startwith each candidate speaking for five minutes.
The Dannevirke Chamber of Commerce is hosting the meeting and is calling for written questions that can be put to the candidates.
The questions can be sent to dvkechamber@gmail.com by 5pm Tuesday.
They are, for Wairarapa, Mike Butterick (National), Warren Butterworth (New Conservative), Nigel Gray (Advance New Zealand), Kieran McAnulty (Labour), and Celia Wade Brown (Greens). For Ikaroa-Rawhiti Maori the speaker will be Kelly Thurston for The Outdoors Party.
The meeting is an opportunity for voters to get their questions answered, and get information to help them make an informed decision for this year's election.
People will be able to meet and talk to the candidates following the meeting.
