Shapeshifter have announced their third trip to Hawke's Bay as a part of a larger concert with fellow musicians Kora, The Blackseeds and Ladi6.
The Sacred Hill Summer Festival will be at Sacred Hill Winery's Rifleman's Vineyard on February 19, and coincides with Art Deco Weekend.
"It's such a great line-up and
to have Shapeshifter here is fantastic - they have sold out every concert they have played at this summer," Sacred Hill marketing assistant Margaret Turvey said. "It's a beautiful site and there's going to be a full moon - it's really exciting."
Summer Festival was organised by the boys from Shapeshifter and will be a particularly special gig for frontman P Digsss, who grew up in Hawke's Bay.
"I have been wanting to do this for a long time, it was just about getting everyone together at once," he said.
It is hoped after this year Summer Festival will become an annual event.
The festival will be held almost a year to the day after a 47-year-old Napier man fell 100m to his death at the venue following a Winery Tour concert.
