State Highway 2 near Tangoio was fully and then partially closed for more than five hours on Monday morning after a truck and car crash.
Police were called to the scene near Tangoio Settlement Rd at 6.25am.
At 9.22am a police spokeswoman said one lane of the road was expected
to open "shortly" with priority access given to trucks. The road fully re-opened at 11.45am.
There were no injuries, but the truck took several hours to be removed from the scene, a police spokeswoman said.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area and police thanked them for their patience.
