Crash on SH2 and Tait Rd in Hawke's Bay has left traffic blocked up.
A truck and car have crashed leaving one person with critical injuries near Eskdale on Tuesday.
Police were called to the intersection of State Highway 2 and Taits Rd about 3pm.
A police spokeswoman said contractors were being sent to the scene and traffic management was in place with theroad blocked and traffic elsewhere slowed near SH2 and SH5.
“There is some debris over the road.”
New Zealand Transport Agency said delays are possible.
