Tukituki MP Craig Foss welcomes the establishment of the Havelock North Community of Schools that he says "will benefit 3165 local students".

"Community of Schools will allow students to benefit from shared teaching practices and expertise, with teachers working collaboratively on goals to help improve educational outcomes in the classroom. I'm proud our schools realise that together they can achieve even more for our kids," Mr Foss said.

The schools proposed for the Havelock North Community of Schools include Havelock North High School, Clive School, Haumoana School, Havelock North Intermediate School, Havelock North Primary School, Lucknow School and Te Mata School.
